Dead Man's Hand is an up and coming metal band from Joliet, Illinois. At first listen, I really liked them. Now it has grown on me and I await a full length CD. This is a five song EP with one cover song.

Holy Fight
This will definitely rattle your old school bones. It has screaming guitar riffs, great drums, and awesome vocals.
Evil Underground
You can hear the ‘80s metal influence come out almost on the first beat. Fast and furious guitars are featured in this one. It almost reminds me of the first Death Angel CD in certain ways.
Hatred
Their punk influences come out in this song. It is definitely hard core metal to say the least. It’s very pit inspiring. I could see some heads getting bashed during this one when played live.
Untitled
This one is a bit more epic sounding. The opening riffs are very talented and draw you into the groove perfectly. It is an instrumental, but showcases their talent.
Wander
Played live, they mention in the beginning, “Here is a new song we are working on.” It is very grindy and still has that DMH sound. It sounds like they will continue with the trend. Some of the guitar work in this just shines, and the drummer is going nuts through most of it. The guitar solo towards the end screams metal.
Wrathchild An Iron Maiden cover, you can tell these guys are big time Maiden fans like me. I am very impressed with this cover. The bass lines alone would make Steve Harris himself proud.
