The music on this has a cool electronic sound. There are interesting waves of sound dancing over the top. Some vocal loops serve almost as instrumentation. In some ways, this is not the most musical hip hop song of all time. It’s one of the cuts that seems more rhythmically involved than it is melodic. That said, there is some melody here. The rap is pretty far up in the mix, though, and is really the key element to the number.
