World War IX

Bender Royale

Review by Gary Hill

Fun punk rock is the order of business here. It should be mentioned that this is paired with a comic book, as a nice bonus deal. The music here is compelling punk. It’s raw and aggressive and just plain cool. This is just a short EP of a bunch of short songs. It works, though.

Sore Winner

This a real punk rock powerhouse. It’s short and while one might not expect talent in punk rock, the bass line is awesome.

Keyboard Commando
This has more of that awesome bass work. Additionally, it’s got some killer guitar riffs. All that is contained in a short, aggressive punk song.
(We've Gone) Hollywood

Wow…this one might be even cooler. It’s got more of a party feeling to it and it really has some cool bits of vocals.

Oi Revult

This is a classic punk tune that at times make me think of the Ramones and at other points of The Clash.

Bender Royale

You have to love any punk song that starts with “let’s get drunk.”

Untitled Cut

There’s an untitled bit here at the end that’s just a spoken word story.
