I've reviewed quite a few releases from Karney over the years. She can be counted on for quality music. This EP is no exception. It's a solid collection of music that has a pretty wide range of sounds. I think this is a good addition to the catalog, and would probably be a good introduction to her music.

There is a dramatic and intriguing texture to this number. It gets developed into some soaring, almost dreamy vibes at times. There are some hints of prog on this tune. The guitar soloing on this is very tasty, and the tune is so potent.

This track is made up of acoustic guitar and vocals. The stripped down arrangement serves it well. The guitar work is intricate and expressive. The vocals are powerful. I think this might be my favorite tune here. There is such a genuine sense of immediacy to it.

This rocker has some good melodies and solid energy. The guitar soloing is particularly meaty. This is the hardest rocking tune here.

Here we get a cover of the Neil Young song. I have to say that the original has so magic in it, that you really can't compare this to it. I like this version quite a bit. It starts in an acoustic guitar arrangement, but turns more rocking later. There is even some horn playing on this. Well, at least it sounds like it, but I don't see anyone listed as playing any kind of horn. I suppose it might be keyboards, but it sure doesn't sound like it. The electric guitar work later in the track is great.
