The Mollys

Live Rockford, IL, September 3rd, 1999

Review by Gary Hill

The Mollys are rock solid proof that there are strong common threads throughout folk music the world over. They combine Celtic, Mexican folk, country and even polka into one sound that is undoubtedly The Mollys' own. Then, they deliver it in a manner that will have you laughing, singing and dancing. Even if this musical style is not your first (or even second or third) choice, the band`s energy and enthusiasm is contagious and guaranteed to provide a fun night. This show was certainly confirmation of that.
