Mötley Crüe
Live at Alpine Valley, July 18th, 1999

Kicking off the show with In The Beginning segueing into Shout at the Devil, the Crue tore into a rousing set on this Wisconsin summer evening.

| The band seemed more focused on the music than on previous tours, but there also didn't seem to be as much camaraderie as on other tours. Although the only track covered from the first album was Live Wire, and Generation Swine was skipped altogether, the set list represented a nice cross-section of a respectable musical career. |

| They even performed several cuts that are very rare live offerings, such as Teaser, Too Young to Fall In Love and All In The Name Of. |

The stage show, which featured lots of confetti and pyro-technical displays, suffered a bit at times from an over-reliance on the female dancers performance. Mick Mars' slide guitar performance was certainly one of the highlights of this show. New drummer Randy Castillo was an excellent choice, and never missed a Motley beat. Overall the concert was a treat to lifelong fans, and those new to the wonders of the Motley mayhem.
