What a treat it was to have this trickster performing at our beautifully haunted Coronado theater in Rockford, Illinois. Opening with "Brutal Planet," this shock rocker put on a flawless show. Seeing Alice Cooper is far more than just seeing a live show. The theatrics that ensue are beyond entertaining and are a feast for the eyes. Cooper made his way through several costume changes throughout the evening that coincided with the tunes. Being late October, of course Frankenstein made an appearance during the song "Feed My Frankenstein," and even in the upper balcony it looked large as life!   Cooper played several of his hits, including "No More Mister Nice Guy," "I'm Eighteen," and going out in style with "School’s Out." As it rained sheets of confetti the crowd sang along heartily. Of course, Rockford’s own Rick Nielsen played with the band for their final number while Cooper donned a white lab coat with our local hockey team’s logo. The fans went wild, and the night ended on a beautiful note.
