Keane Curate A Night For Warchild DVD

Review by Gary Hill

A benefit to help kids affected by war, this concert was hosted by Keane. I’ve heard about this band quite a bit, but never really heard of them before. There isn’t really an emphasis on any one type of music here and this should appeal to a wide range of listeners. Sounds range from down home folky country music to 1980’s Europop and plenty of other sounds. It’s a good charity and a great performance. Certainly besides Keane the biggest draw here is Pet Shop Boys. Fans of either of those bands should be all over this, but if you like great music you’ll like this.
