This is a concert film of the Emerson, Lake and Palmer Pictures at an Exhibition performances.  The performances are exceptional and differ from the album. The band was on fire at this early point in their career. The visuals are very much in keeping with the time period, meaning they seem dated by today’s standards. It would have been nice to have a cleanly shot film without all the psychedelic effects. Still, for what it is, an archival record of an important period of ELP’s history, this is both valuable and entertaining. I’d recommend it to fans of the band, although, if you have an earlier version of this, you might not want to trade in. They are pretty similar. Those looking to get an idea of what all the fuss was about might want to pick this up, too.
