The Hollies

The Hollies: Look Through Any Window 1963-1975 DVD

Review by Gary Hill

I really forgot how cool the Hollies were. What a great band. This DVD really gave me a reason to dig into the Hollies catalog. Sure, I knew a lot of their hits, but this was an exceptional band. Every time I hear them, I get into them for a while, and then they sort of fade from my memory. That’s a shame because these guys are great. I’ll have to make it a point to keep them a bit further up in my consciousness from here on out.  I like the combination of interviews and song clips. It’s kind of a step above a lot of similar videos of other artists. If you are a fan of the Hollies, you will probably love this thing. If you aren’t a fan of the Hollies, but have a general interest in the band, or just this type of classic rock music, pick this thing up. It’s well worth the money and is likely to remind you that you always liked these guys, even if you never realized it.
