Garbage

One Mile High...Live DVD

Review by Gary Hill

I’ve liked Garbage from their first album. So, I was quite interested in seeing this live DVD. I was very pleased with the result, too. The sound is great and so is the video quality. The band sound excellent, too. There are a lot of little tid-bits that really grabbed my attention, too. For one thing, I love the angular jarring guitar sound at times. The bit of “Dark Shadows” theme music that precedes “Queer” is a great touch to me. Of course, I love that song, anyway and they do a great live rendition. Shirley Manson really prowls the stage, at times circling like a wild animal ready to pounce. All in all, this comes highly recommended for anyone who likes this band. It’s a great product.
