I might as well address the elephant in the room first. This is an incredibly short release. It’s only four songs and about half an hour long. There are no bonus features or anything like that, either. I suppose the other thing to get out of the way is the fact that, while this is called a “live” recording, there was no audience. Yes, the performance is a “live” on in the aspect that the band got up and did their show. Don’t expect audience response, though. As to the music, though, this is pretty awesome stuff. These guys are part psychedelia, part jazz, part world music and all cool. I’d consider this progressive music, if not progressive rock. There are some bits of interview interspersed here. The video and audio are both quite good. I’d love more content here, but what we get really is exceptional.
