Anyone coming into this video looking for a concert film is likely to be disappointed. Also, anyone offended by nudity and/or drug use should probably steer clear. This is a documentary focusing on the 1971 Glastonbury music festival.

What you get here, is a real feel for the time. This like Woodstock in a lot of ways, but this event was smaller and has a decidedly British edge to it. While I said that it's not a concert film, there are performances from artists like Melanie, Terry Reid, Traffic, Fairport Convention and more. For me, Arthur Brown's amazing performance alone makes this worth having. He's an amazing performer and was captured here at his peak.

In a lot of ways this really does make you feel like you've hopped onto The Doctor's TARDIS and taken a spin back to 1971. It was a different age that seems almost magical in some ways as presented here. This was shot as a high quality film, and that shows, too.
