 Queen
 Mercury Rising DVD
 Review by Gary Hill

I really enjoy this documentary. It does a good job of laying out the history of Queen. There is quite a bit of focus on Freddie Mercury, but really he is an integral part of the story. Besides that, the others aren't left out. There are some interesting interviews and a lot of cool clips. I will say that I wish they had either removed the clips of Eric Hall entirely or at least cut his prominence way down. The guy was largely unintelligible and I get the impression that a lot of the stories he tells might be in his mind only. He seems like the kind of guy who was a legend in his own mind. At least one of the other commentators says that without saying it directly. Still, this is quite a compelling video and a great story.
