These unauthorized videos are always sort of a roll of the disc. Some of them are very good, while others are lacking. I'd say that this one is among the best I've seen. It focuses extensively on Kate Bush's Hounds of Love album, but starts by exploring her work leading up to it, and ends by talking about some of the legacy of the release.

I guess one of the reasons this probably works as well for me as it does is that Hounds of Love is probably in my ten favorite albums of all time. It might actually be in the top five.  The thing is, this story is pretty fascinating anyway.

They use archival interview footage, video clips, interviews with several of the people who played on the album, and more to tell the story. I really learned a lot about the album, and heard interpretations that varied from my own. All of those things will, I'm sure, lead me to an even greater appreciation of the album.

It should be noted that the main documentary here was actually originally released in 2009 with a different title. I am not sure what the differences between them are, but I am sure that I really enjoyed this a lot.
