I previously reviewed Vajra’s last album. Now, they’ve got this new single out. It’s heavy modern music that’s quite proggy, but not old-school progressive rock. Whatever you call it, though, this is great stuff in the tradition of their album.

Starting with keyboards, this works out to a hard rocking jam that’s lush and powerful. It’s dramatic and very much in an AOR progressive rock kind of sound. The guitar sound cuts through the mix. The female vocals purely wail, though, holding their own throughout. This is a screaming hot rocker. It has a break down to a percussive movement mid-track, too. There’s a shift out to a rather spacey movement later in the piece. It gets some stabbing guitar over the top as it comes out of that and back into the song proper.
