Combining elements of 80s pop music with Americana and more, this is an entertaining set. Some of the lyrics get quite topical, but it never loses its sense of fun musically. This stuff is catchy and accessible. It's also interesting.
Normal to You Organ leads things out here. The acoustic guitar rises up, and we're into the cut and the album. This is a mellower kind of Americana based tune. It's pretty and accessible. There is an 80s Euro-pop vibe to this, too. There is a cool keyboard section at the end.
King of You and Me
There is a trippy kind of weird vibe to this. It's part psychedelia, part jazz and part folk music. This is fun.
I Been Told This is a catchy kind of soulful jazzy number. It's fun stuff. It has a lot of that 80s vibe to it.
On Higher Ground
This is bouncy and fun. It's a bit like a folky rocker.
Don't Look Back
A bit harder edged, this is another classy mainstream rocker.
Hey What Can You Do Bouncy and a bit more on the pop side, this is fun. The lyrics are quite political.
Lost Our Way Another topical track, this is a cool Americana styled rocker. It has some great slide guitar.
One More Smile Another classy rocker, this combines a lot of the musical elements from throughout this release. It's solid stuff.
