Resurrection Fern

Siren (digital single)

Review by Gary Hill

This is the third single from Resurrection Fern I've reviewed. It's actually the second for this issue. The music here is sort of folk meets modern pop rock. It's also effective.

This review is available in book (paperback and hardcover) in Music Street Journal: 2019  Volume 6. More information and purchase links can be found at: garyhillauthor.com/Music-Street-Journal-2019.

Track by Track Review
Siren
Intricate acoustic guitar starts this cut. An infectious non-lyrical vocal part joins as the introduction continues. The lead vocal joins after a time, This is a mid-tempo cut that has a rather balladic approach. It gradually gets more intensity and power added to the mix as it continues.
