Metal/Prog Metal CD Reviews

Sonic Fuel

Karma (digital single)

Review by Gary Hill

I previously reviewed another single from this act. I liked that tune a lot and considered it to fall under the category of hard rock or alternative rock. Well, this new one is even stronger. I'd also consider it to be a metal tune. It really rocks like crazy. I'm definitely becoming fond of this act.

Karma
This powers in with some killer energy and metal tones. It's a screaming hot stomper that has strong hooks. The first instrumental section has some major classic rock built into it. For some reason this makes me think of what you might get if you combined Living Colour with Guns N' Roses and then added some more serious metal. This thing is fierce and so tasty.
