The Wonsers You Never Knew Me When I Was Young 2.0 Review by Gary Hill The songs here have an indie rock vibe to them. At times they lean more toward punk. At other points it seems more alternative. They even get a little psychedelic at one point here. This is short set of music that has a good amount of variety built into it. Skyline Bridge I dig the cool punky energy and groove of this song.

Flowers Slower moving, there is some real alternative rock in the mix here. There is an extended bit of studio sounds at the end of the tune.

Mess I dig the energy and punky groove of this. It's not a big change in any way, though.

Montana Mellower and a bit psychedelic, this has a real DIY vibe to it. It gets more driving and rocking later.

Nobody This is a driving hard rocker. I love the fuzz sound on the guitar, and this tune is more effective than a lot of the rest here.

Mess (Live @ The Turf Club 1998) The recording quality on this isn't great, but it's also not terrible. The song seems a little more mainstream rock and less punky here. I think the studio version works better.
