I previously reviewed another set from this act. I think that this one falls a little more completely under alternative rock than that one did. Still, there is a decent range. The set has a few standout tracks, and nothing that really fails. This wanders into art zones, near metal, neo-psychedelic, space rock and more. All in all, this is a cool ride.

Track by Track Review
Snake Fog Rise This is just a short instrumental introduction that’s more of a droning bit of distorted guitar than anything else.
Silver Rain
Hard driving, this leans toward metal, but it’s actually more garage band or even psychedelic. This works pretty well.
Warning Signs
This alternative rocker almost has some hints of country music in the mix somehow. It’s a solid number.
Sundown
Bass gets this underway and holds it through the first vocal movement. The arrangement fills out a little from there as they continue. This has an artsy angle to it. It also has some of that garage vibe.
Paper White Moon
While not a big change, this is another effective alternative rocker.
Find A Way
I love the energy on this track. It has some driving hard rocking sound at its core.
Miasma Theory
This instrumental works toward prog and space rock territory. It’s definitely a highlight of the disc for me. It really does remind me of Hawkwind in a lot of ways.
Two Ships
Mellower and melodic, this has a lot of folk music at its heart. It’s also proggy. It’s an intriguing change, and one of the stronger pieces here.
Fireproof Girl
Coming in on the mellow side, this grows out to more rocking as it continues. The alternative rock meets psychedelia vibe is strong on this one. I’d consider this to be another standout.
Frozen Forest
This isn’t any kind of paradigm shift, but it’s a melodic alternative rocker. It’s solid, but not a highlight.
Until I Hear From You
There is more of a mainstream hard rock vibe to this. It reminds me of 1970s rock in some ways. Yet, it also has a definite modern angle. This isn’t quite a ballad, but it has moments that lean in that direction.
Cannonade Descends
Coming in quiet and rising up to feedback-laden guitar sound, this is an instrumental interlude.
Between Us
There is an artsy vibe to this track. It has some echoey space in the mix. It’s slow moving and has a real drifting vibe to it. This is another that stands out.
