Alias Wayne Manifest Destiny (digital single) Review by Gary Hill
This is the third Alias Wayne release I’ve reviewed. The other two were Eps, but this one is a single. Alias Wayne is a side project of Ranzel X Kendrick. This tune is quite an effective number. I do have one issue with it, but that gets addressed in the track review below. Beyond that, this has a lot going for it.

Track by Track Review
Manifest Destiny I really love the acoustic guitar groove that gets this going. As the vocals join, it creates sort of a singer-songwriter meets alternative vibe. The female backing vocals really bring some magic to the arrangement. This gets more rocking later as it continues grinding forward. My only complaint about this song is the length. It runs almost six-and-a-half minutes long. While the song is catchy and full of passion and spirit, and it does have an arrangement that fills out, the actual structure is too simple and repetitive to work for that long. I think it would be better if it had been cut down by a minute or two.
