If you like classic sounding, bluesy rock music with other types of mainstream rock sound in the mix, this is for you. It doesn’t redefine anything or do anything all that unique. However, it’s performed extremely well, and really just works great. It’s the kind of thing that will feel like an old friend very quickly.

Track by Track Review
Way of the World
There is a classic rocking vibe here. This has plenty of blues in the mix. It’s catchy and so cool.
Sign on the Dotted Line
A bouncy tune, this has some cool Latin vibes at play. It’s another that feels very classic in nature.
Before the Fall
A slower groove, this is also classic in tone. It’s another solid number.
Jewel
Mellower, slow moving blues is on the menu here. This is mostly piano and vocals. It’s also a great tune that’s among my favorites here. It does benefit from some cool guitar fills.
Walter Mitty's Glasses
More of a mainstream classic rock vibe is on display here, but with a lot of reggae and understated cool in place, too. This is a fun romp.
Change Will Do Me Good
This is a smoking hot jam that has a lot of bluesy rock in the mix. The classic sounds are all over this, and it’s a standout tune here.
Your Husband's Got a Gun
This reminds me to some degree of Little Feat. It’s a cool, Southern-edged, bluesy jam. It has some killer guitar work and a lot of style.
This Bird Has Flown
Slow moving, and rather bluesy, there is a dreamy trippy quality to this track, which is basically a ballad. It feels more contemporary than a lot of stuff here, but still has plenty of retro vibes. Horns later bring a bit of a Chicago vibe to the song.
Breathe
This ballad is more of a mainstream pop styled tune with a lot of retro leanings.
They Can Kill You
The horns and backing vocals on this really lend some cool flavors. This is a jazzy, bluesy romp that is absolutely classic. This is another highlight of the set for me.
Dinner for One
There is a romantic music vibe at play here. The track is a classy one. I love the tasty acoustic guitar soloing later.
True Romance
This pop rock number is solid, but not a real standout.
Red Harvest
Dramatic and powerful, this number is sublime. It has a lot of emotion packed into it. I love the violin at the end, too.
