Union

Live in Chicago- April, 2000

Review by Gary Hill

Union delivered a scorching set to the enthusiastic crowd at Chicago's House Of Blues. The band came out and showed that they were a band that really can deliver live what they promise in the studio. The band is John Corabi (briefly with Motley Crue), Bruce Kulick (Kiss), Jamie Hunting, and Brent Fitz.

The band delivered their trademark brand of modern sounding metal with a good retro foundation. Highlights of the show included "Do Your Own Thing" and "Who Do You Think We Are", both from the group's current release "The Blue Room". In total, they did five songs from that album and three from their debut release. Among the other songs included in the set was "Jungle" from Kiss' Carnival of Souls album and a cut from The Scream, which featured Corabi.

If you are a fan of hard rock with a retro edge, be sure to check out this band on their next time around. You will not be disappointed.
