 Tribuzy
 Execution Live Reunion DVD
 Review by Greg Olma
Brazilian metalers Tribuzy have jumped the gun and released a DVD after only one record but quite honestly I wish more bands would do this. How many of us would love to have a concert video of Judas Priest done right after Rocka Rolla or Rush right after their self titled debut. Even though it seems premature for a live release, I applaud the band for throwing caution to the wind and doing what they want. And why shouldn’t they when they are able to rope in a few friends like Roland Grapow and Bruce Dickinson to help them out at these Brazilian shows.
The show is mostly the Execution CD but they find time to include “Tears Of The Dragon” off of Dickinson’s Balls to Picasso record. I know that the producer is trying to be artsy when he goes from color to black and white but I don’t really like it. I would much rather have everything in one or the other. Other than that, the video is shot with many cameras so none of the action is missed. The band (and special guests) put in a heavy and energetic performance but judging by the studio release, I would have expected nothing less. If you are into Angra, this is a no brainer. Execution Live Reunion makes a nice historical document of a memorable show. Now all Tribuzy have to do is follow this up with some more original music.
