Heart Stone

Review by Gary Hill

This lands in the neighborhood of a lot of the modern female pop music out there. That style (like most modern pop music) suffers from over-production and synthetic elements. This has some of that, but it’s seldom to the point of being a problem. There is nothing very original here, but this is effective music. It’s solid and deserves airplay as much as the similar sounds that are heard on pop radio all the time.

One More Day

Soft rock, folk and pop music all merge here. There are some very dreamy elements here. It’s quite a pretty and effective piece. It does have a bit of an over-produced vibe, but not to the point of being a problem.

Promises
The production here is even more heavy handed. The thing is, on this song it really works. This is set in an electronic styled modern pop music. It’s the kind of sound you expect to hear on the radio these days. This piece is catchy and powerful. The vocal arrangement works particularly well, but the music here is effective, too.
Heart Stone
I like the piano and string arrangement that starts this. The cut works out from there into more of a modern pop kind of thing. It gets fairly powered up as it continues.
It's Your Life
More on the electronic end of the spectrum, this is a pretty classy tune.
One and Only Love
Perhaps the most overproduced, this is a bouncy kind of pop song. It’s not my favorite thing here. That’s for sure. Still, it’s fun.
