Bif Naked

Jim (digital single)

Review by Gary Hill

This new single is all about betrayal. It showcases pain and anger very well. It starts in an electronic way, but evolves into more guitar based sounds. It's a particularly effective number.

This review is available in book (paperback and hardcover) in Music Street Journal: 2020  Volume 2. More information and purchase links can be found at: garyhillauthor.com/Music-Street-Journal-2020.

Jim
Keyboard elements bring this into being. The cut builds outward from there with a real electronic style that works well. The vocals bring a real sense of pain with them. The cut works out to some powerhouse hard rocking zones as it continues. This is a real screamer with a lot of variety and dynamic range.
