This is the first single from British act SONI. The tune has a real retro feeling to it. It's a solid pop piece that avoids many of the traps of modern pop music.

Happy To Serve Bass brings this cut into being. Horns join as the classy, soulful jazzy arrangement kicks in. This has a vintage 1970s vibe to it. The cut has some cool hooks and a great energy to it. The number has some spoken male vocals in a break. That section also brings a parental advisory. There are hints of the Beatles at times, but overall this is more funky soul music than anything else. It's quite strong, too.
