I reviewed another single from this act last issue. As much as I liked that one, I think this is even stronger. This (as that one did) feels like something from an earlier era. It has a real timeless, classic sound to it. It's quite effective.

Track by Track Review
Dance with Me This starts right in with a line of vocals. The guitar on this number brings a bit of a jazzy vibe. The bass sound is so retro. There is both a modern element and an old-school sound on display. In a lot of ways this feels like something that would have been at home in the 1970s. It's a classy number that works so well. Horns and some electronics bring more of a jazzy soul texture to parts of this. Then again, there is a soul vibe on display for the whole tune, really. I just really gets emphasized on that one portion.
