Serinity Lynn

U & Me (digital single)

Review by Gary Hill

Serinity Lynn is just 18-years old. Her new single shows that she has promise. This is a catchy modern pop song that avoids many of the traps of modern pop. It seems so much of that genre is processed to the point of removing every bit of humanity from it. This tune, while it is a bit processed, avoids the over-done aspect of that practice. It makes for an entertaining and catchy tune that shows promise for more quality stuff from a talented young artist.

This review is available in book (paperback and hardcover) in Music Street Journal: 2020  Volume 5. More information and purchase links can be found at: garyhillauthor.com/Music-Street-Journal-2020.

Track by Track Review
U & Me
Percussion and melody open the track. The vocals come in over the top of that in a rather mellow and stripped down arrangement. The cut moves out from there with style, getting a bit more energized and involved.
