D.O.A.

To Hell N Back DVD

Review by Gary Hill

First off, this includes the band’s latest CD We Come in Peace as a bonus disc. That’s just plain cool. This gets bonus points right off the bat for that. As to the DVD, this is loaded with live D.O.A. footage. I love this band, anyway, so that is another bonus point. The concerts captured here are from the 2011-2013 period, so the video and audio are both quite good. I mean, this is punk, so it’s not super high definition, but it’s very solid. This would be a great introduction to D.O.A., but it is also highly recommended to fans. We also get a look inside the studio for the recording of We Come in Peace. There is an “interviews” section, but it isn’t what you think, but I won’t give it away. Let’s just say that this is one classy DVD packed with great D.O.A. music and more. Go out and buy it if you like this band or just punk in general.
