Daryl Hall and John Oates

Live in Dublin BluRay

Review by Gary Hill

Back in the day, I really didn’t give these guys the respect they deserved. They did some great music, really. This BluRay captures a show from their 2014 tour. It finds the band in fine form. They perform for over an hour and a half. The show is great. If you’ve ever been a fan of Hall and Oates, you owe it to yourself to give this a try. If you never really got them, I’d recommend you also get this. If you like it, you’ll have figure out what you’ve been missing. If you still don’t get them, you probably never will. The video and audio quality are both quite good here. There are some bonus interviews included. Those are just the icing on the cake, though.

This review is available in book format (hardcover and paperback) in Music Street Journal: 2015  Volume 3 at lulu.com/strangesound.
