Rainbow

Memories in Rock - Live in Germany DVD/CD

Review by Gary Hill

In 2016, Ritchie Blackmore pleased his more rock oriented fans by assembling a new version of Rainbow and making his return to hard rock music. This concert was one of the shows he did with that group. In addition to a new Rainbow lineup there were some female vocalists, with Candice Night (Blackmore's wife and partner in Blackmore's Night) being one of them. The set includes some great Rainbow and Deep Purple tunes. The band is really on fire here. The video and audio are both great, too. All in all, I'd recommend this to all Blackmore fans. This includes a double CD audio set in addition to the DVD.
