Billy Cobham is usually referred to as contemporary jazz or jazz/fusion artist, but he also crossed over into prog territory and it appears it has not left him after all these years.
This is an amazing set. It starts off with two DVDs featuring three shows from the German TV show "Rockpalast." Then they add in five audio CDs with the music from those three shows.
Robby Steinhardt was probably best known as the violinist for the band Kansas. He was certainly a unique individual in the prog rock scene of the day playing that instrument.
Various Artists - Pete York's Super Drumming, Vol. 3 Review by Gary Hill This is quite a cool DVD. While much of the music is pure jazz I've included it in the progressive rock section because Bill Bruford, Simon Phillips and Cozy Powell all appear here and have worked in prog rock.
