This is an intriguing set. The music here lands along the lines of world music, but it's a bit more eclectic than that. It's instrumental music. It's also played on just two instruments, bandoneon and piano. The bandoneon is sort of a small accordion. I have to say that accordion is one of two instruments I generally don't like, but this works well. Perhaps it's because it's not precisely an accordion. Perhaps it's because of the skill and style of the player. Most likely it's a little of both. All that said, this is an unusual and effective release.

I really dig the world music vibe of this number. It's energetic and works well.

While this is not a big change at all, it is another entertaining world music romp. It has plenty of classical music in the mix, too.
