 The Moody Blues
 Their Fully Authorized Story DVD
 Review by Gary Hill

The documentary on this disc is well worth having. The main issue is that the title is deceptive. This was previously released as The Moody Blues: Classic Artists. I reviewed it under that title. Here is what I said about it. “There is certainly more to like about this documentary than there is to dislike. It features up to date interviews with most of the Moody Blues and details the band’s history. There are interviews with a few people who were more on the periphery of the band, too. All in all, this is quite detailed and informative and highly recommended. The downsides include a lack of live footage, no older interviews with the band members and the lack of participation by Patrick Moraz. This really is quite an impressive documentary however you slice it, though.” If you already own that one, you probably don’t need this unless you are a completist. If you haven’t picked that one up, though, you can get it by buying this one.
