Eminem

Live From New York 2005 DVD

Review by Gary Hill

This is really a cool DVD. The video production is incredible and, say what you want about Eminem, the man can deliver live on what he promises in the studio – it’s that simple. This might be the best looking live DVD I’ve seen. It’s crisp and clear. The stage set is pretty awesome, too – not something you normally would expect from a hip hop show. OK, I’m going to say that I’ve never been to a hip hop concert, so I only have so much experience on that comment – and what I’ve got comes from other DVD’s. The truth is, this is the best hip hop concert DVD I’ve seen. I would hope that parents don’t need a warning from me to know that this content is definitely not “kid safe.” The truth is, though, this is a killer DVD. I’ve always like Eminem’s studio presence, but I wasn’t sure what to expect live. The man rocks, plan and simple!
