UFO

Rockpalast-Hardrock Legends Vol. 1 DVD

Review by Gary Hill

Memories abound here for this reviewer!  In 1980 I had seen a couple outdoor concerts, but never an indoor one. UFO was the first indoor show I saw. It was the very same tour (No Place To Run) as the one on which this performance was captured. Of course, this is basically like a highlights set, rather than the full set – or at least as I recall the first set. Other than that, it’s a blast from the past. I still think the performance is powerful. Say what you will but UFO without Michael Schenker was (and still is) a powerful outfit. This live DVD really proves that. It’s highly recommended for fans of the band, casual and more hardcore, both.
