Primal Scream

Screamadelica Live Blu-Ray

Review by Gary Hill

The third album from Primal Scream was Screamadelica. This video captures the band in a concert where they performed the disc in its entirety. Many consider Screamadelica to be among the best alternative rock albums of all time, so that makes this concert a “must have.” The video quality and audio are both quite good. Primal Screams unique blend of rock, R&B, goth and electronic sounds work quite well in the concert arena. All these elements combine to make this an exceptional set. In addition, the Blu-Ray includes a full Classic Album documentary on the band and thirty minutes of bonus footage. It’s a great way to become familiar with this band or just enjoy a great show.
