Counting Crows

August and Everything After: Live at Town Hall BluRay

Review by Gary Hill

I’ve got to admit to not being a huge fan of Counting Crows. It’s not that I don’t like the group, but I’m not overly familiar with them. Besides, their brand of accessible pop rock isn’t my favorite flavor. Still, this set works quite well.

We get a live performance of the group’s first album here. It’s a strong showing and both the video and audio are quite good. There’s only one bonus, a documentary. Still, the main concert film is strong enough that it’s only a minor complaint.
