Rose Tattoo

Live In 1993 from Boggo Road Jail DVD

Review by Gary Hill

Rose Tattoo rock. That’s just plain obvious. At times their sound is somewhere along the lines of Nazareth. At other points AC/DC is a valid reference. Still, Krokus isn’t that far removed from their sound. This concert from 1993 found them in their element, performing in front of a huge crowd in their native Australia. The video and sound are both pretty good and these guys do a great job of delivering the kind of sound that made them famous. Interestingly enough, the Divinyls DVD reviewed in this same issue was filmed at the same concert.
