Circle Jerks

My Career as a Jerk DVD

Review by Gary Hill

I always liked the Circle Jerks a lot. They were a cool band. I just never knew all the craziness in their story. In fact, I knew little about these guys before seeing this video. I’d have to say that with all the interviews and interesting live footage, this does a great job of telling the story in a way that’s consistent with the sound of the band. This one is a DVD I’d heartily recommend to all fans of the Circle Jerks, or punk rock in general. It’s quite good.

This review is available in book format (hardcover and paperback) in Music Street Journal: 2012  Volume 6 at lulu.com/strangesound.
