Devo

The Men Who Make the Music DVD

Review by Gary Hill

If you are going to reissue an old out of print video, it always makes good sense to add some new content, too. Well, that’s what they did here. First, they start with the reissue, material, The Men Who Make the Music. It is a cool video connecting songs with short scenes. It’s great fun. Additionally, it’s early Devo material, so great to have from an archival point of view. Plus, it’s just entertaining.

Additionally, there is a concert film from 1996. That show is a lot of fun and has newer and older material. It should be noted that video quality for all of this is not top of the line, but still pretty darned good. The audio is similar. This comes highly recommended to Devo fans, plain and simple.
