The Pee Wee Blues Gang

Live At Rockpalast DVD

Review by Gary Hill

Make no mistake, these guys rock. This video features a 1981 performance and the video and audio are both quite good. Their blend of blues rock lands a bit more toward traditional blues than some other artists do. I love the slide guitar, but everything here really works. It would be nice if they had included some bonus features, but really when the main thing is this good, it’s not really all that critical. If you’ve never heard this band, pick this up. It’s a great introduction. If you are fan, what are you waiting for? Get it now.
