The Residents

The Residents Present Triple Trouble Blu-Ray

Review by Gary Hill

You can count on The Residents to do things in an unexpected way. I wasn't quite sure what to expect here, but it definitely wasn't an actual movie. I suppose I thought it would be more of a combination of visual art and rock opera kind of thing. This is really a science fiction movie. It's just as weird as you would imagine it is, too. It does feature soundtrack music, but it's not really a music video. This is trippy, psychedelic and artsy. It's an interesting new facet in the phenomenon that is The Residents.
