The mix of sounds here has a healthy dosage of electronic music built into it. Yet, at the same time there is a classic, retro soulful sound. Throw in some hip hop and you’ll have a good idea of what this is all about. However you label the various angles of sound coming at you, though, this is solid stuff.

One Step Away
I like the mix of modern and older sounds on this. At times it seems almost hip hop like. At other points it feels closer to some of the electronic dance music from the 80s. All in all, it’s energized and fun.
Opening Night Still set in electronic territory, this really has a classic soul vibe at the same time. The vocals really sell it.
So Cold Another that seems to combine classic soul music with modern electronic sounds, this also has some of that 80s vibe, too. It’s another successful piece.
Save A Little Place There are no big changes here, but rather another soulful cut that works quite well.
Under Your Skin In a lot of ways this is more electronic. It’s also more modern. That said, the vocals are completely classic.
