 Joel Phil
 Monster (digital single)
 Review by Gary Hill
I previously reviewed an EP from this artist. That one had four different versions of one song. While it was effective, it seemed to be a bit of overkill. This time around he's just released a single with just the one song. I think that allows it to shine a bit brighter because it's just the one tune. There are no other versions to steal the thunder. This does stand tall, too. It is very much a modern pop song, but not in a lot of the negative ways. This feels a lot more genuine and real than a lot of modern pop music does.
