Jillian Shea Spaeder Barely Changed (digital single) Review by Gary Hill This new single is sure to appeal to fans of modern pop coming from other female artists. It feels similar in tone and style to a lot of that stuff. It is less over-produced than a lot of the competition, too. While this isn't really the kind of music I generally listen to, it is accessible and works pretty well. Track by Track Review

Barely Changed While the pop music vibe on this is heavily produced and artificial in texture, the vocals get a less heavy hand in the production department. That's a good thing. The song has a bit of a rock groove, but never lands anywhere near rock territory. This is precisely the kind of music that is played on pop radio these days, but I'd say that this number is of a general higher quality than a lot of the stuff out there. The vocals aren't completely untouched by effects and production tricks, but they are clean enough to still hear a real voice in there. That's refreshing amongst a lot of pop music out there.
