Aradia

No One Can Stop You Now (digital single)

Review by Gary Hill

This is a brand new single from Brooklyn based electro-pop artist Aradia. This has a real rock sound that sets it apart from a lot of modern acts. It's retro in nature and so classy.

This review is available in book (paperback and hardcover) in Music Street Journal: 2020  Volume 2. More information and purchase links can be found at: garyhillauthor.com/Music-Street-Journal-2020.

Track by Track Review
No One Can Stop You Now
Drums lead this out. A rocking electronic sound joins, and the cut launches outward. There is a real 1980s feeling to this. I'm reminded of Pat Benatar, Cyndi Lauper and Blondie. It has a lot of energy and some solid hooks. It's good to hear this kind of thing coming out today as an alternative to the over-produced pop music that's so prevalent.
