This release is considered alt country, and I suppose that makes sense. There are definitely both alternative rock and country elements at play here. I think that you'll probably make out a lot of jam band sound and more. This works well from start to finish, although I think had they moved a few songs around a little, it would be a stronger album.

Country, rock and the blues seem to merge on this track. It has some great energy. Harmonica is a nice touch. The whole tune really rocks.

More of a mellow country sound is on the menu here. This has a nice groove and some class. It's not what I'd consider a standout, though.

This balladic number is more of alternative rock tune. It still has some roots music in the mix. I really dig the bluesy guitar work on this a lot.

There is a cool energy and groove to this cut. It has a real jam band kind of feeling to it. This has some awesome guitar soloing along with some smoking hot harmonica wailing.

Slow moving balladic stuff is the order of business here. It has a real down-home vibe to it. There are some bluesy angles to this, but it also gets closer to a mainstream pop rock zone.

A blues rocking grind with a lot of country in the mix is the concept here.

This energetic groove has more of an alternative rock meets jam band vibe. This one of my favorites here. It just works so well.

Another with more of that mainstream vibe on display, this is a little slower than the last one. It has some cool grooves and hints of roots music. I think if they had switched the last two tracks it would have made for a stronger closing, but this works pretty well.
